About Actaeon

Actaeon is a Prince George's County-based contractor founded in 2017 that builds and maintains stormwater infrastructure, landscapes, and hardscape and concrete work for government and private clients across the Baltimore–Washington–Annapolis region.

The company was started by Donna An, PMP, who brought 25 years of environmental management and restoration work to it, including time with the US EPA's Watershed Division and a Master's in Environmental Management from Yale's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She founded Actaeon in Prince George's County in 2017 with a specific focus: environmental site construction and maintenance executed to the technical standards that the agencies governing this work actually require.

Since 2017, the firm has delivered more than $16 million in work spanning BMP and LID construction and maintenance, stream and shoreline restoration, landscape installation, large-scale grounds maintenance, and hardscape and concrete construction. On the maintenance side, Actaeon self-performs across more than 500 acres of turf and over one million square feet of planting beds and green infrastructure. Clients have included the US Army Corps of Engineers, DC's Department of Energy and Environment, Prince George's County, and Maryland DOT SHA, among other government agencies, general contractors, HOAs, and private property owners throughout the DMV.
